this is way the fuck out of my sphere. i didn't just go with a friend, i actually convinced a friend who at the time would have considered this one of his favourite acts to go through the process of dragging him with me. unfortunately, scaredy-cat wouldn't have gone by himself. i would have none of that nonsense. he thinks he had to heroically prevent me from getting mangled on multiple occasions, but he secretly thanks me inside for taking him out.
